Return to Preemption

Day 2

Another nice trip to get away for awhile. You hear of people riding a couple hundred miles to eat at a restaurant...we rode 350 miles to get a bike fixed.

I haven't went anywhere with Mike since 2005. This was Johnny's first trip to speak of. He earned his sunburn and sore butt. It was nice for John and Mike and Johnny to put down some miles together.

After we got home I started thinking that Donna and I should have stayed for another night. We could have spent the remainder of Saturday at the American Pickers shop and watched trains in Galesburg. Oh well.

My poor Goldwing needs washed. It is still carrying dirt from South Dakota. I need to get the Yaesu radio setup working, too.

If you're anywhere near Preemption stop at Dave's shop and get some bike work done or buy a T-shirt. I was going to get a T-shirt but forgot. Alzheimers.

See you on the Highway!
