2018 Gettysburg motorcycle trip

Epilogue

- Another great trip in the East 50 Phelons chronicles. Another capitol visited. More pins acquired. Solemn soil tread upon. 1637 miles of fun.

- I think the Endless View Cottage that we at stayed this time and Viewtopia in Georgia are my two favorite houses. They had great views and seemed remote even though they were just a few miles from civilization.

- The house wasn't without issues. John had to replace the diverter in their shower so it would work properly. I had to adjust our sink drain plunger. Some of the exterior doors stuck. They need to find a good handyman.

- It would have been nice to spend another week. We would have easily filled the time.

- Trains next to the house. Awesome!

- A week after we were home I replaced the alternator and the Goldwing is ready to go again. I replaced it with a higher output version like the newer Goldwings have, so you might call it an upgrade. I also replaced the burned out taillight.

- Other than the alternator all the bike issues we had were easily fixed. Go Goldwings!

- I'm still searching for a good camera. The pictures on the new Walmart camera weren't any better than my old camera.

- It was nice to hear Mike's voice on the radio after all these years.

- This would have been a great vacation for Pat & Christy to be with us. Maybe next year?

- Maybe next year Mike will have a larger diamondplate trailer that Jerri can stuff with goodies?

- A few weeks after our trip Donna and I celebrated our 7th anniversary. I've loved every minute! XOXOXXOXOXOXO

- I'm going to do more research on Gettysburg and Harpers Ferry...to start. My interest is now picqued.

See you on the Highway!
