One of the oddities of the Honda CB setup is the type of connectors used. Tuning with an SWR meter is highly recommended and there is no way to connect a normal SWR meter without using a plethora of adapters. There has also been discussion that these types of connectors are fine for receiving, but aren't the best for RF transmission. I decided to convert the connectors to 'normal' PL-259 type connectors.
I cut off the factory ends then went to my drawer of PL-259 connectors and my drawer of RF adapters for the connectors and female-female adapter.
A little soldering later and the conversion was complete. The coax used by Honda is slightly larger than normal RG-58 so I had to use some lubricant to get the ferrules to slide over the coax.
